SHOCK: Former CA Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Fathered Child With Then-Married Household Staffer 10 Years Ago, Is Adultery a Trend with Republican Politicians?

Former Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered child with then-married household staffer more than 10 years ago, told wife Maria Shriver after he left office about betrayal.

SHOCK: Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver, separated after she learned he had fathered a love child more than 10 years ago with a longtime married member of their household staff, who recently retired after working with the family for 20 years. Shameful. Absolutely shameful.

Shriver moved out of the family's Brentwood mansion earlier this year, after Schwarzenegger acknowledged the paternity. The staff member worked for the family for 20 years, retiring in January.

"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger said Monday night in a statement issued to The Times in response to questions. "I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry. Source: LA Times

This man didn't only betray his wife. The woman who worked in their home for 20 years also betrayed her beyond words. How could she? You worked with the family and was a part of their lives and you screw her husband? Wow. Talk about a new low. Schwarzenegger is a POS for what he did. How he covered this up and got away with it for so long is amazing. I don't blame Maria Shriver for moving out and moving on. These powerful men always find someone they can dominate to engage in extramarital affairs. Look at how low Schwarzenegger sank -- household helper -- who he could dominate.

Schwarzenegger is a POS for doing to this to Maria Shriver. The sad reality is that she gave up her career at NBC to follow his dream of becoming a governor. Is that how you thank someone who has been your biggest fan? Sadly, this isn't the only time we have heard about children fathered out of wedlock with famous men or adulterous behavior, for that matter. Rudolph Giuliani dogged out his second wife Donna Hannover, the mother of his two children, with a home wrecker in plain sight. John Ensign (R-NV), who is tangled up in some adulterous mess right now. I can't even begin to find words to describe his nastiness. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) divorced an injured wife to marry his current wife. Pretty sure they were screwing around. Former Republican Speaker of the House and presidential aspirant Newt Gingrich's wife was stricken with cancer when he trotted off in the sunset with another woman. John Edwards is the  lone Democrat in this bunch who had a terminally ill wife. I hope they send him to prison for campaign finance fraud. Let's not forget former SC Gov. Mark Sanford, Sen. Vitter & former Sen. Ensign. To all those who would throw former President Bill Clinton in this bunch for his indiscretions with Monica Lewinsky, Gennifer Flowers & Paula Jones, he was a louse too and had to pay for his actions.

From NY Times: Associates of Mr. Schwarzenegger and Ms. Shriver, pointing to the request for privacy, offered only scant details. The child was said to be a boy, about 14 years old. Several friends said the mother was working around the house, pregnant, at the same time that Ms. Shriver was pregnant with the youngest of the couple’s four children, Christopher, who is 13. The woman and the child did not live in the house.
