NYPD Officer Philip Chlanda, described as being distraught over a possible breakup with his girlfriend pulled out his gun and shot himself in the head, right in front of her early Tuesday, the NY Daily News says. Wow, there are some really unstable people masquerading as police officers.
The 29-year-old cop argued with his gal pal after he looked at her Facebook page to see if she was seeing anyone else, said Paul Browne, NYPD's chief spokesman. "He was left with the impression that she might leave him," Browne said. Source
Seems like the only person he truly loved in this equation was himself. He killed himself on-duty and on a public street. How narcissistic.
