U.S. government revokes Jamaican energy minister James Robertson & wife's visitors' visas without giving an explanation.
Why did the U.S. government cancel the visas of Jamaican member of parliament James Robertson and his wife? According to the Jamaican Gleaner, Robertson issued a statement saying no details were provided for the basis of such drastic actions from the U.S. government, but he thinks it could have resulted from "uncorroborated statements forwarded to various departments in support of a failed application for political asylum." He further stated those allegations "remain wholly rejected." How embarrassing! He's right about one thing, that it's America's prerogative in revoking the visas, but I'm pretty sure this was no error on their part. We'll see how this unfolds. Word on the street is that this revocation is shrouded in secrecy. Why?UPDATE#1:
