One deputy, Alfredo Navarette & two correction officers Sylvia Najera & Marcella Hernandez, all under tough-talking Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio nabbed as part of smuggling raid.

Tough-talking Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio should either feel like crap or beat his chest that his toughness paid off, after three law enforcement agents in his county were nabbed in a sting: Deputy Alfredo Navarette, 37, and two corrections officers, Sylvia Najera, 25, and Marcella Hernandez, 28, were among 12 people rounded up in Tuesday's sting. The raid ended a year-long investigation into the ring, which is suspected of funneling loads of heroin into the Valley area west of Phoenix, the NY Daily News says. Sounds embarrassing to me.
