Catherine Hurd, wife of top British diplomat Thomas Hurd & mother of five, reportedly commits suicide by jumping four stories from luxury apartment building in New York City.

Catherine Hurd, wife of Thomas Hurd, a top British diplomat, fell four stories to her death from the roof of her New York City home near the United Nations building. According to the Daily Mail, her husband is a Middle East expert working with the UN Security Council. Mrs. Hurd, mother of five, was rushed to the hospital where she pronounced dead. Police believe she committed suicide.
