French website Atlantico.fr says Dominique Strauss-Kahn, indicted on sexual assault charges, has his "blue dress moment" because his semen found on Sofitel maid's clothes.
Report: Well any career former
IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn thought he may be able to have is over. His reputation is in shreds. It won't help that reports have surfaced that traces of his semen was found on clothes worn by the West African maid who accused him of attempted rape. Talk about a
"blue dress" moment.
The French website Atlantico.fr reported today that Strauss-Kahn's DNA was found on the woman's dress, saying the NYPD notified French authorities of the development on Sunday.
Strauss-Kahn's defense team has said the alleged assault may have been consensual. Denying he is guilty of sexually assaulting the maid, Strauss-Kahn has told the fund's staff of his "profound sadness and frustration" in having to resign his post after he was arrested May 14.
In an e-mail obtained by CNN, Strauss-Kahn, who has been under house arrest since Friday night, wrote, "I deny in the strongest possible terms the allegations which I now face." Source
Wait, didn't former
President Bill Clinton deny having
"sexual relations with that woman," meaning
Monica Lewinsky, only to be forced to admit the truth once the Gap dress with his semen was revealed? The only difference is that Clinton wasn't facing rape allegations and looking at a lengthy prison sentence.
