Barrow county, Ga., sheriff's deputy, Capt. Lewis Rusgrove resigns after Facebook rant calling Barack Obama, the nation's first black president, a "towel headed leader" and a "camel jockey" over high gas prices, also took swipe at gays and blacks.
Just in time for the 2012 presidential election campaign the derogatory labeling of President Obama has started.
Barrow County, Ga., former
Captain Lewis Rusgrove took to Facebook to post some horrible references to President Obama with terms like
“towel headed leader” and
“camel jockey.” After seeing a picture of Rusgrove, he should be the last person to engage in name-calling. He's no Greek Adonis.
The Facebook postings began with talk of high gas prices and goes on to ask “Damocrats, blacks or African-Americans where is the outrage towards your towel headed leader.”
It went on to say you “voted this camel jockey into office.” And ends with “I guess you're too busy helping baby killers, gays, and pot heads.”
The page belongs to Lewis Rusgrove, who identified himself on the page as captain, CID, or Criminal Investigations Department at the Barrow County Sheriff's office. Source: WSB-TV
I just love how these losers use the excuse that the insults were political in nature and didn't come out of hatred. On the contrary. It did come out of hatred for a
black president. He sure could have fooled me with the derogatory name-calling of "camel jockey" and "towel headed." This is the same officer who came in contact with blacks and Latinos on the streets of Barrow county. His record deserves a second look. If he felt he did nothing wrong, then why resign? He was initially suspended for 10 days, pending an internal investigation launched by the sheriff.
