Indictment Coming for John Edwards in DOJ Probe into His Campaign Finances Used to Cover Up Extramarital Affair

John Edwards to be indicted over misuse of campaign funds to cover up adulterous relationship with so-called videographer Rielle Hunter, whose daughter he fathered.

An indictment is heading John Edwards' way in the very near future after the Department of Justice said it believes it has enough information that points to Edwards' use of campaign funds to cover up his extramarital affair with videographer and his baby-mama Rielle Hunter. He has to make a tough decision of whether he should take a plea deal or take a chance and go to trial. Either way, he won't be able to practice law again, but with the former option, he would avoid prison. In the latter, he would be charged with a felony and possibly sentenced to a prison term.
