The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority, which is responsible for developing the national curriculum from kindergarten to 12th grade, has decided to strip BC (Before Christ) and AD (Anno Domini) from textbooks and replace them with BCE (Before Common Era), BP (Before Present) and CE (Common Era) in a move to be politically correct. Um, to echo Anglican Archbishop Peter Jensen, removing BC and AD from the curriculum was an "intellectually absurd attempt to write Christ out of human history."
