John Hagee Says Harry Potter & Paganism Corrupting Our Kids, in Classic Right Wing Evangelical Hypocrisy

Right wing evangelical John Hagee says Harry Potter and paganism are corrupting our kids. Never mind the fact that evangelicals have a higher than average divorce rate in the U.S. Secular humanism isn't to be blamed for that statistic. Hypocrisy is. Many evangelicals treat their significant others like sh*t, objects to be dominated. I was shocked when Dr. Charles Stanley got divorced. It doesn't matter who filed for divorce. It happened and he is still the leader of one of the biggest churches in the Southeast. Has he been celibate all these years, or do they think we are so stupid as to look the other way. Hagee and his cronies would have you believe other wise -- do as I say, but not as I do. If the truth be told, Harry Potter doesn't teach children about witchcraft, as he alleges. It's pure entertainment and you have the option not to read the books or watch the movies.

John Hagee, like many right wing evangelicals, have hypocrisy oozing from their pores. He is the same guy who said God tried to destroy New Orleans with a flood in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina because He hates gays and lesbians:
I believe that New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God and they are – uh, were recipients of the judgment of God for that. The newspaper carried the story in our local area that was not carried nationally, that there was to be a homosexual parade there on the Monday that Katrina came.
He also insulted Jews by saying God killed millions of them during the Holocaust. In other words, what Adolf Hitler, another mad man, did was ordained of God. Really?
God sent a hunter. A hunter is someone who comes with a gun, and he forces you. Hitler was a hunter. How did it happen? Because God allowed it to happen. Why did it happen? Because God said my top priority for the Jewish people is to get them to come back to the land of Israel.
Yeah, the world is in a free-fall. A moral free-fall into the pits of hypocrisy emanating from the pulpits and television networks such as TBN. He should worry about the paganism coming from the pulpit. We have Juanita Bynum insulting the Lord by typing in tongues. What's that? That is A-OK in the books of the right wing evangelicals because they believe the general public is gullible enough to fall for their "jive talk." Seems to me that John Hagee pushing a deeper tolerance for hatred and divisiveness by attacking this country, made up mostly of Christians. In fact, he and his cronies are really the ones in a moral free-fall.
