Shooting at Daycare in Stockbridge Ga., Mother & 10 Year Old Daughter Hurt, Husband Still at Large

Developing: Shooting at the Little Mountain Christian Academy daycare in Rockdale County, Ga. One child taken to hospital and Kimya Roberson airlifted to area hospital, estranged husband Terrence Roberson arrested in incident.

According to the AJC, the mother, Kimya Roberson, was dropping her daughter off at the school, where she was to catch a bus to Lorraine Elementary School in Rockdale County when the woman's husband, Terrence Roberson, approached them and began shooting. The woman "ran inside and started screaming for help," a police spokesman said.

UPDATE#1: Terrence Roberson has been arrested by police in the shooting of his wife and daughter at a Rockdale County's Little Mountain Christian Academy. The suspect had stolen his mother's care the day before. They were separated for about a year, according to WSB-TV.


UPDATE#2: Terrence Roberson has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault on the shooting of his estranged wife and child. He turned himself in to Covington, Ga., police.  News reports state she filed for divorce on Monday. Stay tuned, more to follow.....
