Ola Mae Robinson, 80, busted again for dealing crack cocaine out of her Prichard, Ala., home, denies being a drug dealer, but criminal record goes back to 1988.
Jesus take the wheel.....Police in Prichard, Ala., arrested 80 year old
Ola Mae Robinson, alleging she's a crack dealer. Police said this isn't the first time she has been arrested for being a neighborhood drug dealer. She was busted in June on possession and distribution charges. According to Local 15 News, Ola Mae denied selling crack cocaine, saying, "No, I don't have time for no crack cocaine. Wish I was, cause then I'd have money." The person who is giving her the drugs to sell belongs behind bars as well. That's just reprehensible on all levels.
"Police say you haven't learned your lesson," said Andrea Ramey. "Learned me a lesson," Ola Mae responded. "Tell 'em they need to learn one." Today, police executed a search warrant in her Prichard home and once again, investigators say they found quite a bit of crack cocaine and pills. "How do you explain all the drugs in your house?" Andrea asked Ole Mae as she was being taken into custody. "It wasn't mine! Til they found me I was sitting up in my chair noddin!" explained the 80 year old. Source
The police maintain
Ola Mae Robinson has had brushes with the law tracing back to 1988. Where is her family? This is ridiculous and unconscionable. Both my grandmothers were God-fearing women who never had a bad thing to say about anyone much less breaking the law. When you think grandma, crack cocaine dealer doesn't come to mind. With that being said, I wonder is this woman is getting government assistance in the form of food stamps and subsidized rent?
