We are always saddened when a law enforcement officer loses his or her life. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Officer Emiliano Torres-Soto. I have an affinity to the law enforcement community, having had several relatives who serve and served as police officers in Jamaica, with one dying in the line of duty.
