SHAME: Pastor Ronald Fails, who leads the Grace Church Worldwide Ministries, based in Lima, OH, was snagged in a prostitution sting earlier this week. According to Limaonline.com, Fails said he's innocent and waiting for his day in court. He also said he "will defend himself in court, not through the media." Seems like I have heard that line before -- Kwame Kilpatrick, Bill Campbell, O.J. Simpson, etc. Why do they always blame the media for their shortcomings? Members of these churches need to take a stand against this type of behavior and say no more to these pastors.

Fails was one of five people arrested late Tuesday and early Wednesday in connection with a prostitution sting targeting an area of complaints between South Main and South Elizabeth streets and West Vine and West Kibby streets, said Lima Police Lt. Patrick Coon.

Fails, 53, is charged with two counts of soliciting and one count of loitering to engage in soliciting. He is scheduled to appear at an arraignment Friday at Lima Municipal Court. He was released after his arrest, Coon said.

Fails was in his car when he approached “an undercover operative” posing as a prostitute and solicited her, Coon said. Police used two undercover women for men to approach and two undercover men to approach women on the street offering prostitution, Coon said. Source

There is a serious problem in the body of Christ, when we have so many prominent ministers falling on their faces through self-destructive and narcissistic behavior. Pastor Fails is correct, he is innocent until proven guilty, but that doesn't mean people won't talk and judge him. If he is in fact guilty of soliciting a prostitute, then I would venture to say, this isn't the first time he has sought such services. Pastor Fails' wife, Carol and his four children deserve better than this. Not to hear that their man they call husband and father is messing around with prostitutes. Nasty, nasty, nasty.
