Ex-NBA Referee Troy Raymond Found Dead in Apparent Suicide, Hours After Body of Wife, Leslie Anderson Raymond Found Houston-Area Home

Ex-NBA referee Troy Raymond was found dead in a New Orleans hotel room of an apparent suicide, just hours after police found the body of his wife, Leslie Anderson Raymond, at their Houston-area home. She reportedly died of manual strangulation. He died of a gunshot wound to the head. Um, why didn't he just kill himself first, if he was so miserable? Why take his wife's life? He may have been retaliating against his wife because she recently asked for a divorce. She is survived by two children from a previous marriage.
