President Obama's Greyhound One Campaign Bus Custom-Built in Canada, So Much for Built in the U.S.A.

I hate to kick a man when he is down, but how does President Obama and the White House explain his Greyhound One campaign bus being custom-built in Canada? Talk about kicking the American job market in the face. According to media reports, the $1.1 million bus, is one of two that Quebec-based Prevost sold to the U.S. government. The bus is a VIP H3-45 model, completely decked out by the Secret Service with state-of-the-art security features. Who is paying for this bus and for him to trek all the country? His campaign or taxpayers like you and I? As for the job and deficit proposal he plans to unveil in September, guess what folks, that won't make it through Congress until next year. So, like reggae legend Bob Marley said in one of his songs, "I don't want to be waiting in vain, for your love [Obama]."

UPDATE#1: It would seem that Greyhound One isn't making any stops in predominantly black communities. Once again, the Obama Administration has thumbed its nose at his most faithful and steadfast bloc of voters. I echo Rep. Maxine Waters' sentiments that the Congressional Black Caucus is getting tire of being ignored by the president. Could it be that elitist label that's resurfacing?
"We're supportive of the president, but we're getting tired. We're getting tired. So, what we want to do is, we want to give the president every opportunity to show -- to show what he can do and what he's prepared to lead on," Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) told a Congressional Black Caucus-sponsored gathering yesterday in Detroit. "Our people are hurting," Waters added. "We don't know why on this trip that he's in the United States now, he's not in any black communities. We don't know that," Waters said. Source
Why? I can tell you why Ms. Waters, President Obama knows black folks will go out and vote for him in droves. When will they realize elected officials should earn their votes?
