BREAKING: Embattled Rep. David Wu (D-OR) Won't Run for Reelection in 2012, But Won't Resign for "Unwanted Sexual Encounter" with Teen

Embattled Rep. David Wu (D-OR) won't seek reelection in 2012 but won't resign in face of allegations of "unwanted sexual encounter" with teenage daughter of longtime friend and campaign donor.

Rep. David Wu won't run for reelection in 2012, but he says he won't resign after allegations of "unwanted sexual encounter" with teenage daughter of longtime friend and campaign donor revealed. Um, didn't Anthony Weiner refuse to step down when his sexting and lewd pictures on the Internet surface? Wu's case is far more serious and borders on criminal behavior, so why hasn't Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer called for his resignation or at the minimum an ethics investigation?

UPDATE: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has called for an ethics investigation into the allegations against Wu. Finally, she decided to speak. If the allegations are true, David Wu should be forced to resign. The police should also launch an investigation.
