Black Florida GOP Lawmaker Allen West Represents the Worse of American Politics, After his Vicious Tirade Against Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz

Rep. Allen West, who recently wrote anyone who has an Obama 2012 bumper sticker is a threat to gene pool, goes on vicious tirade against fellow Florida lawmaker Debbie Wasserman-Schultz after she criticizes him for supporting "Cut, Cap, Balance" legislation.

Black freshman GOP Rep. Allen West (D-FL) is a disgrace to Congress and to the black community. He is a loose cannon and is, quite frankly, unfit for any kind of political office. He engaged in an ungentleman-like tirade against fellow Florida Democratic lawmaker Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, in which she was belittled and verbally abused. He called Wasserman-Schultz "vile," "unprofessional," "despicable," "a coward," "characterless," "not a lady," and demanded that she "shut the heck up." Um, who fits everyone of those labels? Rep. Allen West. Wasserman-Schultz "provoked" the tirade after she commented, without naming him, about his support for the "Cut, Cap and Balance" legislation to raise the debt ceiling. Here are her remarks:

“The gentleman from Florida. who represents thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, as do I, is supportive of this plan that would increase costs for Medicare beneficiaries, unbelievable from a Member from South Florida,” Wasserman Schultz said, saying the legislation “slashes Medicaid and critical investments essential to winning the future in favor of protecting tax breaks for Big Oil, millionaires, and companies who ship American jobs overseas.”

Well, like a real virago and hood rat, West fired off a nasty email to House Republican and Democratic leadership, as well as his chief-of-staff, Jonathan Blyth. Here's the entire email:

Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige. You are the most vile, unprofessional ,and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!

I am bringing your actions today to our Majority Leader and Majority Whip and from this time forward, understand that I shall defend myself forthright against your heinous characterless behavior……which dates back to the disgusting protest you ordered at my campaign hqs, October 2010 in Deerfield Beach. You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!

Well, there's a name for people like Rep. Allen West -- a bitch. The people of Florida should have realized they were putting a loose cannon in office. You see, when West was still an active duty Army lieutenant colonel, he was relieved from command in October 2003, after an investigation was launched for aggravated assault in a case involving questioning of an Iraqi police officer. He was eventually adjudicated under an Article 15 hearing rather than facing court martial. He was fined $5000, and allowed to retire with full benefits. He tricked people into thinking he was a war hero and eventually prevailed in the elections, with the backing of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. Even the local Veterans of Foreign Wars did not fall for his line, they backed his opponent.

Rep. Allen West represents the worse of U.S. politics and his behavior should be deemed a clear violation of House rules. He recently posted on the Red County website, that "anyone with an Obama 2012 bumper sticker is a threat to the gene pool." Really? I think he's the bigger threat to the gene pool, period. Who is the angry black man now?
