Rupert Murdoch-Owned Times of London Newspaper Under Fire for Poking Fun at Somalian Famine with Editorial Cartoon

Rupert Murdoch-owned The Times of London newspaper under fire for editorial cartoon mocking Somalian famine by equating it with too much attention being paid to company over phone hacking scandal.

Here is a prime example of why blacks cannot feel pity for Rupert Murdoch and the mess he is in with the phone hacking scandal threatening to topple his empire, News International. Take a look at the cartoon below and how offensive it is to the people in Somalia going through a famine right now. The cartoon, which appeared in Murdoch-owned The Times of London's Thursday edition, invoked the image of the starving Somalians to imply that the phone hacking scandal was getting too much attention. Really? Poor taste.

In case Rupert Murdoch and his flunkies don't know it, the famine is affecting nearly four million people in Somalia and there's no end in sight. As usual, Rupert Murdoch & Co. don't respect anyone of African descent.
