Black Professor Michael Eric Dyson Pulls Race Card, Says Republicans Against More Debt Because Economy Is "In the Hands Of The Black"
Professor Michael Eric Dyson is playing the race card just like Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX) about the impasse in the debt ceiling talks. He appeared on MSNBC saying, "And 130 members who are Republicans in Congress to date voted to raise that debt ceiling under George W. Bush. Is there any real reason to believe here, Ed, that one of the reasons Congress will not vote to put the economy in the black because the economy is in the hands of the black? That seems extraordinarily harsh and divisive. But the reality is, there seems to be no logical or reasonable answer or response to the notion other than they want to deny this Democrat and this particular President the victory of having the ability to forge consensus here around the reality of American debt."
