Awsaf Alvi Islam, Teenage Pedestrian Struck in Collision of Lamar Odom's SUV & Motorcycle, Laid to Rest

Awsaf Alvi Islam, the 15 year old teenager who died when a motorcycle collided with a Cadillac Escalade carrying LA Lakers player Lamar Odom and crashed on a Queens, NY, sidewalk, was buried. The motorcycle, driven by Christian Mora, reportedly hit the front bumper of the SUV, spun out of control and struck the teen. The boy sustained severe head trauma and died last Friday. No one has been arrested, but the accident remains under investigation. Odom is said to be overcome with grief at the boy's death. Awsaf Alvi Islam is the son of immigrants from Bangladesh. Odom, a native of Queens, is married to Khloe Kardashian.
