Principal with White Supremacist Ties, Frank Borzellieri, Running Bronx-Based Catholic School Where Students Mostly Black & Latino

Frank Borzellieri, who has ties to white supremacist group, promoted two years ago as principal of Bronx-based Our Lady of Mount Carmel school, where mostly black and Latino students in attendance.

Frank Borzellieri, 48, who has ties to a white supremacist group and wrote for racist publication American Renaissance is now running Bronx-based Our Lady of Mount Carmel school, where most of the students are black and Hispanic, the New York Daily News reports.

Frank Borzellieri, 48, was quietly promoted to principal of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School two years ago - despite a history of controversial writings and campaigns, including a push to ban a biography on the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

In 2004, Borzellieri wrote the book "Don't Take It Personally: Race, Immigration, Crime and Other Heresies," in which he declares "diversity is a weakness" and says the rising black and Hispanic populations in America will lead to the "New Dark Age."

He has also written frequently for the white supremacist publication American Renaissance, with which he is still "intimately involved," the non-profit Southern Poverty Law Center says. Source
How could the pastor, Rev. Eric Rapaglia, even have the guts to say he knew of Borzellieri's views but didn't "see any cause for concern" when he hired him to run the 200-student school. Really? You send the fox to guard the hen house? I am pretty sure if Rev. Rapaglia named Rev. Jeremiah Wright as the next principal all hell would break loose, because many have claimed his views are racist.

Here's a very disturbing excerpt from Borzellieri's book, from the Village Voice:
On average, blacks score lower on every conceivable aptitude test than whites and Asians...These results have not changed despite decades of heroic efforts to uplift blacks to [sic] and to tinker with the tests.

But rather than acknowledge what every (yes, every) study and informed scientist has put forth, the government's official position is that blacks fall short because of white wickedness. Oppression and discrimination by whites are responsible, not inherent shortcomings. (Asians, who outperform whites, have a significant history of discrimination in America, but that's an inconvenient fact.)
Either Rev. Rapaglia shares his views or his just downright stupid. Why would you elevate someone with known ties to a white supremacist group to run a school, any school that prides itself on being progressive.

UPDATE #1:  Frank Borzellieri has been fired from his job as principal for his white supremacist ties.
