A 7.0 magnitude earthquake has struck Japan's Ryukyu Islands, a tsunami warning has been issued.
URGENT: A 7.0 magnitude earthquake has struck Japan's Ryukyu Islands early Saturday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey said.According to CNN, Japan's Meteorological Agency issued a tsunami advisory, recommending that people on the Okinawa Islands evacuate from the seashore. The advisory also affected the Amami Islands and Tokara Islands.
The quake struck at a depth of six miles and occurred about 53 miles from Okinawa.
