President George W. Bush Headlining 'Motivational Mega Show' With 'Inspirational Firepower,' Cost Per Office is $19

I tried really hard to ignore this latest news item about President George W. Bush, but I just couldn't resist. I would have guessed that he would command a higher admission charge at any appearances he makes, but $19? That's a slap. Well, he has found himself in a new circle. Gone are Condi Rice, Dick Cheney, Alberto Gonzales and Donald Rumsfeld. Hello Terry Bradshaw, Zig Ziglar and Rudy Giuliani. You see, these men, including Bush are among the other featured speakers at an Oct. 26 "Get Motivated!" business seminar in Fort Worth, TX, where the former president will be the "special guest speaker." That won't be Bush's only Get Motivated appearance.

According to media reports, the all-day event next week will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena. Tickets are apparently $19. Get this. That's not per person. It's per office.
The Get Motivated seminar is, according to its website, "world famous for its energizing, action-packed, star-studded, fun-filled, spectacular stage show. CNN, 60 Minutes, USA Today, TIME, PEOPLE, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal all rave about it! This motivational mega-show packs more inspirational firepower than a stick of dynamite!"

For more than 25 years, corporate leaders, Fortune 500 companies, educators, business owners, salespeople, medical professionals and more have made Peter and Tamara Lowe's GET MOTIVATED! America's #1 Business Seminar. We've reported on Get Motivated before, but still, Bush's planned involvement came as something of a surprise.

Besides Bradshaw ("legendary NFL Hall of Fame quarterback), Ziglar ("America's #1 motivator") and Giuliani ("America's mayor"), Bush will appear at the Fort Worth event with Colin Powell ("legendary soldier-statesman"), Robert Schuller ("America's best inspirational speaker"), Rick Belluzzo ("legendary president of Microsoft") and Tamara Lowe ("top sales expert and author of Get Motivated!"). I guess President Bush's claim to fame is his MBA and his expert handling of the U.S. economy that has heralded the most prosperous time in our nation's history. Of course I am being sarcastic. If you attend and can't get enough of President Bush, he'll be back on December 2, when he will be the featured guest speaker.
