Raunchy Beer Advertisement Entitled 'Ho White and the Seven Dwarves' Angers Disney

Walt Disney Co., is hopping mad over an x-rated advertisement for Jamieson's Raspberry Ale, which depicts fairytale heroine Snow White, blowing smoke rings while lying in bed with seven semi-clad dwarves. In this disgusting dystopia, Snow White has been renamed "Ho White," while the dwarves Sleepy, Happy and Doc are rebranded Filthy, Smarmy and Randy, supposedly representing different types of drinkers.

The Foundry which created this ridiculous and insulting idea claimed its intent was to convince Australian drinkers that the fruit-flavored beer was "anything but sweet." I am sure denigrating a woman can be correlated to people accepting fruit-flavored beer. Disney, which licenses Snow White is understandably quite upset.

The Foundry's website had featured pictures of "Ho White" but links to the campaign appeared to have been disabled and the campaign's official website, anythingbutsweet.com, could not be accessed. I would hope that is because Disney has slapped them with some type of legal injunction.

Disney released the famous animated Snow White feature in 1937. The cartoon feature films are aimed at children and I seriously doubt the entertainment giant would sit by and allow that wholesome image to be tarnished by a few opportunists bent on selling beer.
