Shepard Smith Apologizes For "Lack Of Balance" In Fox News Report on New Jersey Gubernatorial Race (VIDEO)

Shepard Smith and Geraldo Rivera are two on-air personalities at Fox News that I can tolerate. I have found them to be "fair and balanced" in every sense of the word. Shep did something no one else at Fox News Channel has to guts to do, well, maybe Bill O'Reilly on occasion when he gets cornered. He apologized for a story not being fair and balanced. Here's a quick synopsis of the incident:
Reporter Shannon Bream was covering the campaign for governor in New Jersey when she snagged an interview with the Republican candidate Chris Christie, but when Smith asked her when she would interview the the Democratic candidate, and current Governor, Jon Corzine, Bream replied, "We have in multiple requests, and when it comes in, we'll let you know."
Smith was clearly not happy with that response. He remarked "Wow. I didn't know that was about to happen. My apologies for the lack of balance there. If I'd had control it wouldn't have happened."
