Village Voice Newspaper Loses Advertisers Over Twitter War Ashton Kutcher About Child Prostitution Numbers

The Village Voice newspaper has lost advertisers over a Twitter was with actor Ashton Kutcher and his wife, Demi Moore. This Twitter war erupted over a story the newspaper ran arguing that Kutcher and his wife used inflated numbers to raise awareness of underage prostitution. Well, Kutcher did what everyone else who has a disagreement with an on-air personality or company should do, is to get the word out by any means necessary, including the use of social media. He did just that. Kutcher went directly to advertisers in the Village Voice through social media. The story reported this week that there are far fewer teenage prostitutes in the country than Kutcher and others have argued. The reality is that one child forced into prostitution is one child too many.
While Kutcher and other advocates have said the number of those at risk is between 100,000 and 300,000, the Voice cited arrest data to suggest the number of underage prostitutes is actually in the hundreds or thousands. The Voice also argued for more funding for victims of child prostitution. Source
Why can't we do that with Rush Limbaugh and the race-baiting and lies he's spreading about Barack Obama and blacks, in a roundabout way? The reason I make this argument is because Rush Limbaugh is going too far in his obvious hatred of a black man as his president. Talk about Barack Obama on the issues, but why attack the color of his skin, whether overtly or shrouded in twisted words?
