Sen. John McCain Says Don't Give Faisal Shahzad Miranda Rights, Glenn Becks Begs to Differ

Here's a priceless quote today from Sen. John McCain (R-AZ):

"Don't give this guy his Miranda rights until we find out what it's all about. That would be a serious mistake at least until we find out as much information as we have."

During an interview on Fox Business Network, he uttered these ridiculous about Faisal Shahzad, a naturalized American citizen, arrested for the attempted bombing in New York City. Even Glenn Beck had the presence of mind to call for this terrorist to be mirandized. He should be afforded the same treatment as any other U.S. citizen.

Beck said, "He is a citizen of the United States, so I say we uphold the laws and the Constitution on citizens." This was a stunner for the co-hosts of "Fox and Friends," on which he appeared this morning. "If you are a citizen, you obey the law and follow the Constitution. [Shahzad] has all the rights under the Constitution," he added. This is one time I agree with Glenn Beck.
