The news gets crazier by the day. Gordon Kent Nelson, a Cumming, Ga., man, has been accused of biting two eight year old girls in two separate incidents. According to WSBTV, Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton, one incident occurred on March 29 and the other in August of 2009. He is misdemeanor battery charges.One of the girls was bitten above the hip and the other on her left calf, Paxton said. Although neither girl required extensive medical treatment, one was treated and released at a local hospital.Is this some strange fetish or is this man just plain crazy? Thankfully this nut is off the streets. I spoke too soon. He was released on bond, only to approach the girl and her family again. This time he should be denied bond.
In the 2009 incident, Paxton said the victim was a sleep-over guest of Nelson's daughter. In the most recent incident, the victim was the daughter of a friend. Paxton said the incident occurred in the friend’s home while Nelson was alone with the child.
Nelson turned himself in at the Forsyth County Jail early Tuesday morning and is being held without bond pending a first appearance court hearing.
UPDATE#1: According to WSBTV, Forsyth County sheriff’s officials said a man who was arrested in May on accusations of biting a young girl has been arrested again after an incident at a Walmart involving the same girl. Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton said deputies arrested Gordon Kent Nelson, 44, Monday following a confrontation on June 9.
