Another Georgia teacher is in the news. Belinda Hazlett, a teacher at Snellville Middle School, was charged with a misdemeanor after a parent accused her of grabbing his son. She was charged on May 18 with simple battery against a student.
According to WSB-TV, school officials said Hazlett was accused by a parent of forcefully pushing and grabbing his son by the shirt collar. After the investigation, the school resource officer reportedly filed the battery charge.
