Former FEMA Director Michael Brown Says Obama Wanted Oil Spill so he could "Shut Down" Offshore Drilling

Former FEMA director Michael Brown says President Obama wanted oil spill so he could "shut down" offshore drilling.

Remember former FEMA Director Michael Brown? You know the one who bungled the relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina? Yeah, the guy who President George Bush told "Brownie, you're doing a heckuva job" and then he was forced out. Well, he thinks we have forgotten who he is. He boldly proclaimed on Fox News (surprise, surprise) that the Obama administration favors the oil spill so it can shut down offshore oil drilling. Right. Just like bungling of relief efforts in Louisiana, which appeared like a disaster in a Third World country. Oh, maybe that was a deliberate act on the part of the Bush Administration. It safe to say the last armchair pundit we need to hear from is Michael Brown.

BROWN: And so now you’re looking at this oil slick approaching, you know, the Louisiana shore, according to certain — NOAA and other places, if the winds are right, it will go up the East Coast.

This is exactly what they want, because now he can pander to the environmentalists and say, “I’m going to shut it down because it`s too dangerous.” While Mexico and China and everybody else drills in the Gulf. We’re going to get shut down. Source: Media Matters
The only way I can respond to this ridiculous assertion is what a dumb-ass. Brownie, go back to your radio show. He has zero crebility when it comes to natural disasters.
