GOP House candidate, Dan Fanelli, Runs TV ad calling for racial profiling
In an ad that ran last weekend on a Fox affiliate (surprise, surprise!) in central Florida, Fanelli is seen standing between a middle-aged white man and a younger fellow and says:
"Does this look like a terrorist?" he asked gesturing towards the white man. Then he points to the darker guy, he adds: "Or this?" "It's time to stop this political correctness in the invasion of our privacy," Fanelli says.
Er, isn't this calling for racial profiling to search for people deemed as potential terrorists? The sad fact is that candidates will say just about anything to get elected, as Mr. Fanelli has done. He is pushing a line of thought that says racial profiling is the right thing to do. Where will it stop?
