Tonya Bray, Mother of Auburn Univ. Football Player Quan Bray, Murdered, Jeff Jones Turns Himself in to Police

Mother of Auburn University freshman football receiver Quan Bray, Tonya Bray, found shot to death on LaGrange, GA, street by police, Jeff Jones charged with her murder.

Tonya Bray, mother of Quan Bray, Auburn University freshman receiver, was found shot to death Sunday morning in LaGrange, Ga., and Jeff Jones turned himself into police for her murder. According to WTVM-TV in Columbus, LaGrange police responding to a car accident found that the driver, Ms. Bray, had been shot in the head.

An hour later, Jeff Jones turned himself into police and admitted to being the person who drove up to Bray's car and shot her. Police tell News Leader Nine the two have been in an 18 year relationship and have children together, but they cannot confirm if Jones and Bray were married.
