Five Year Old Hillcrest Heights MD Boy Shoots Four Year Old Friend with 0.22-Caliber Pistol While on Playground

SHOCK: A five year old Maryland boy shot and badly wounded his four year old friend at an apartment complex in Hillcrest Heights as the two played. According to the Daily Mail, neighbors heard the gunshot, ran to the child's rescue, while the shooter ran off with the gun and hid in his family's apartment. Police have launched an investigation into how the little boy managed to get hold of the gun, believed to be a 0.22-caliber pistol. The boy reportedly lives with his mother and three siblings. No daddy in the home.
