Timothy Hendron, 51, Shoots Eight, Killing Three in Gun Rampage at the ABB Power Plant in St. Louis

Police searching for Timothy Hendron, 51, after he shoots eight, killing three at the ABB Power plant in St. Louis, Mo. Timothy Hendron reportedly killed.

Have you seen Timothy Hendron, 51, of Webster Groves, Missouri? He is the gunman who shot at least eight people, with three fatalities, at the ABB Power plant at 4350 Semple Avenue. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, police have set up a two-mile perimeter around the plant with no one allowed in or out because the gunman may still be inside the building. A company supervisor reportedly told police that the gunman was a disgruntled worker who may have recently lost his job. Police say Hendron drives a pewter-colored Nissan truck with Missouri license plate OKK 696.

The Post-Dispatch is reporting that Hendron was a plaintiff in a class-action federal lawsuit against ABB and its pension review committee over financial losses. A bench trial over the suit was held Tuesday and Wednesday in Kansas City and resumed this morning, according to the court clerk of U.S. District Judge Nanette Laughrey.

About 40 workers were on the campus of ABB when the mayhem began. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a woman called the police at about 6:30 a.m. to report that someone came in to the east side of the building and started shooting. "They are still shooting," a dispatcher told police officers rushing to the scene at 6:34 a.m. A longtime friend and neighbor of Hendron, Ronald D. Bartram, said in a media interview, that Hendron is a hunter and has guns.

It's just crazy that so many people are snapping and committing grave acts of violence. The economy is tough and life may be hard, but pulling a gun and shooting innocent people isn't the answer. There are news reports stating that Hendron has been killed, but The Hinterland Gazette has not been able to confirm that at this time.
