Latricia Samuel Accused of Driving Through MLK Parade, Arrested on 13 Counts of Aggravated Assault

There is always a fool among us. Latricia Samuel, of Hollywood, Fla., is currently behind bars after police said she nearly ran over children and officers as she drove through a Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade.

According to a sheriff's office report, Samuel, 37, was arrested on 13 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police told the Sun Sentinel that each count reflects each person she threatened to strike with her car. She was also held on charges of attempting to flee or elude police and resisting arrest without violence. She is being held on $65,000 bail.

So, what set this idiot off? According to the Sun Sentinel, a police officer told Samuel she couldn't park near the parade's main route, so she drove off but directly into the parade's path. Several officers reportedly had to jump out of the way to avoid her. The police report also said three babies in strollers were almost struck. Police cruisers chased her car onto the highway where she crashed. One person was injured and taken to the hospital. This fool should be denied bond. It was her intention to hurt spectators at the parade, including children.
