URGENT: NYS Governor David Paterson's Son Alex, 15, Arrested for Possession of Stolen Credit Card

BREAKING: New York State Gov. Paterson's son, Alex Paterson, 15 years old, has been arrested in connection with gambling and using fake credit cards, according to the NY Daily News.

The governor's son was reportedly arrested for possession of a stolen credit card after he was caught by police shooting dice with friends near Beacon High School, the Daily News says. He was seen shooting dice on the sidewalk near his school. When his belongings were searched, a source told the Daily News, the police found the credit card in someone else's name. The card was traced and it was determined to be stolen.

He was being held in the 20th Precinct in New York City. He was reportedly seen leaving the police station a few minutes ago in the company of his mother. This is totally embarrassing for the governor and couldn't occur at a worse time. I can almost hear the Boys II Men song, "End of the Road" and "Taps" playing for the governor's political career. If his abysmal poll ratings don't derail his chances of being elected governor,, this most certainly will.

Gov. Paterson and his wife, Michelle Paige Paterson, also have a daughter, Ashley.
