It seems as though there is a Tiger Woods soap opera that is playing out before our eyes. According to TMZ, the injuries he sustained Friday morning were reportedly not caused by the accident, but by his wife Elin Nordegren. He has yet to be formally interviewed by the Florida Highway Patrol, which is expected to occur this afternoon, but TMZ is reporting that he had a conversation with a "non-law enforcement type" and stated that his wife had confronted him about his jump-off, you know his skank. Did Miss Elin go postal on her man?We're told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We're told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV -- but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.
We're told Woods became "distracted," thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.
We're also told Woods had said during the conversation Friday he had been taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which could explain why he seemed somewhat out of it at the scene. Source: TMZ
Tiger Woods has managed to stay relatively scandal free during his career, with a propensity to using profanity on the golf course, but nothing of this nature. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the coming days. If his wife really did this, then she had no right to do so and she needs some a serious anger management session with a professional. If Tiger Woods is cheating on his wife, he should realize that the grass isn't greener on the other side, especially since the woman, Rachel Uchitel, has a history of dating married men.
