VP Joe Biden Unscathed as His Motorcade is Involved in Collision on New York City, Four Injured

What is going on with Vice President Joe Biden's motorcade? His motorcade was involved in a third accident in two weeks. His motorcade was struck on New York City's West Side by another car in a collision that sent three people to the hospital during evening rush hour.

Biden was not hurt in the accident. He was headed to an appearance on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." The accident occurred at 5:40 p.m. at 49th Street and 10th Avenue as Biden headed uptown to the show’s 11th Avenue studio.

Three advance vehicles belonging to the NYPD were moving down 49th Street near 10th Avenue when they slammed into the back of a livery cab, officials said. The cars apparently had lights and sirens on at the time, officials said. Four people, two NYPD officers and two civilians, were injured, NYPD spokeswoman Barbara Chen said.
