Memphis man, Marco Blanch, facing felony aggravated rape charge for allegedly raping 79 year old woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

There are some people in our midst who don't deserve the air they breathe. Marco Blanch is facing a felony aggravated rape charge for allegedly raping an elderly woman who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, the Commercial Appeal said.

The woman's grandson told officers he was in the home on the 700 block of Kerr when he heard noises coming from his 79-year-old grandmother's bedroom at about 10:20 p.m. on Feb. 3.

Marco Blanch, of South Memphis, admitted giving the victim beer before having sex with her, the affidavit said. Police determined her dementia combined with limited mobility voided any possible consent. Source

Blanch, whose bond is $250,000, should be blanched in some scalding water. What pleasure could he have possibly derived from raping an elderly woman? Despicable.
