Gunman Enters Detroit Precinct Shoots Four Officers Including Commander Brian Davis & Officer David Anderson

Gunman enters Detroit precinct and shoots Commander Brian Davis & Officer David Anderson, Sgt. Ray Saati & one other officer, before being shot to death.

URGENT: A gunman walked into a Detroit police station and shot Commander Brian Davis, who is in charge of the sixth precinct, and Officer David Anderson this afternoon, according to the Detroit News. The conditions of both officers aren't known at this time. The suspect was also shot. It is being reported that he is dead. It is now being reported that four officers were shot. It is horrifying, to say the least, that such mayhem could erupt in a police station. I have written extensively about police officers being killed in the line of duty. The question I continue to ask is who is protecting our law enforcement agents from thugs such as this?

UPDATE#1 The officers shot also include Sgt. Ray Saati and a fourth person, a female sergeant whose name was not released, was also hit. The four have been transported to Sinai Grace hospital in Detroit.
