Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. "Deeply Sorry" for "Relationship" with Restaurant Hostess Giovana Huidobro

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. said he's "deeply sorry" for having relationship with Giovana Huidobro.

Is this like father like son? Specifically Rev. Jesse Jackson and his namesake, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. The younger Jackson said he is “deeply sorry” for having “disappointed some supporters” regarding his relationship with a female “social acquaintance.” That acquaintance's name is Giovana Huidobro and he doesn't deny having some type of relationship with her. Wow, the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. You will recall that the elder Jackson not only had an extramarital affair, but fathered a child from the union. I think he's sorry he got caught. He's another shyster like his dad.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, which released the info, Jackson vows to stay in office over another allegation. The report said a major political fundraiser has told federal authorities that Jackson directed him to offer former Gov. Rod Blagojevich millions of dollars in campaign cash in return for an appointment for Jackson to the U.S. Senate, to succeed President Obama.

Jackson said the incident involving a female acquaintance is a private matter between he and his wife. He allegedly had a relationship with Giovana Huidobro, a restaurant hostess and former model. He allgedly asked that fund-raiser Raghuveer Nayak pay for her to be flown from D.C. to Chicago on at least two occasions, according to NBC Chicago. Of course, he's trying to be the doting husband now.
