Janette Mickelboro Arrested in Death of Infant Son After Tying Blanket Around His Face to Keep Pacifier In

Another sad case involving the death of an infant. Janette Mickelboro of Tulsa, Oklahoma, has been arrested on first-degree murder charges in the August 20 death of her three-month old son Hunter Warner.

Mickelboro, 23, is currently being held on a $250,000 bond after her arrest Wednesday. What she did to this baby is gut-wrenching. According to the Oklahoman, police said she admitted to tying a blanket around the baby's face to hold his pacifier in place then left him in a chair for several hours. Police say Mickelboro told detectives she later found the child to be cold and stiff as she was leaving for work.

Her explanation borders on insanity. Who in their right mind would tie a blanket around a baby's face to hold the pacifier? Er, if the pacifier keeps falling out then it's safe to say the baby didn't want it in his mouth in the first place. There are so many decent women out there who want kids and would be good mothers but can't get pregnant. That's just not fair.
