MSNBC's David Shuster in Hot Water After Shooting Pilot for CNN, May be Off Air Indefinitely

MSNBC's David Shuster in hot water with station again after shooting pilot for CNN show. May be off the air indefinitely.

MSNBC's David Shuster is in the hot seat once again. He is being raked over the coals because he reportedly filmed a CNN pilot and that would not be looked at kindly by the network's brass. Shuster did not appear on-air Friday and according to TVNewser's Gail Shister, he may be off the air indefinitely. She reports that MSNBC President Phil Griffin,"ripped Shuster a new one over the phone" and that "a repeat performance is expected [Monday] in the office." His contract reportedly expires this year.

It should be noted that this is the third time Shuster has found himself in a "heap of trouble" with the network. Earlier this year, he was muzzled on Twitter after what the network considered an inappropriate Tweet at conservative activist James O'Keefe. In 2008, he was suspended over his comment that the Clinton campaign had "pimped out" Chelsea Clinton on the campaign trail.

Well, I like David Shuster and maybe it's time for him to move on to a better opportunity. Well, there are a few others at MSNBC who deserve to be in better positions such as Tamron Hall and Willie Geist. Also, I wish Geraldo Rivera and Shephard Smith would leave Faux News. They are too fair and balanced for that news network.
