Lowell Litten, Principal of Private Christian School, Charged with Sexual Abuse of 14 Year Old Teenager

Lowell Litten, principal of Eastern Shore Junior Academy in Queen Anne's County, Md., has been charged with sexual abuse of a teenager. Police said the victim is a ninth grader at the "religious" school where he works. He reportedly admitted to the police during questioning that "he had driven the girl to a housing complex where he pulled up to a vacant house in the driveway, where she performed a sexual act on him." This man is married and is the father of four young children. What an example to set for his family and the school. I cannot believe that his bail was only $25,000. This is an outrage. This man should be treated like any other dirtbag charged with sexual crimes against children. It is my hope that he was released with an ankle bracelet, since he has joined the ranks of sex offenders.
The state police are now investigating to see if others were also victims. State police say there were several sexual encounters between the 39-year-old and the 14-year-old in Maryland and Delaware. They have seized Litten's computer and some other papers.

The academy is run by the Seventh Day Adventist Church and a spokeswoman told Eyewitness News by phone, "Of course we fingerprint and do a background check on any employee who will be working with children, so that was done. We're cooperating fully with authorities on this." The church says Litten has been at the Eastern Shore school for four years but served at a school in Takoma Park before that. Source: WJZ-13
People fail to realize that these dirtbags are living in our communities and we must be very vigilant. This man deliberately engaged in a criminal behavior with a minor and expected to get away with it. They should run him out of town. His bond is an outrage. People have done lesser crimes and have had higher bonds. Where's the logic in that?
