Once again a cop has been caught on the wrong side of the law. Deputy Chris Bieze stopped 72 year-old great grandmother, Kathryn Winkfein, for speeding. The officer claims she mouthed off and got physical during the stop. Oh, that's right before he tasered her during the stop on May 11, 2009. After he completed the paper work, she reportedly refused to sign it. Yeah, that's when things got ugly. What a loser and a liar. How threatening can a 72-year old woman be? Shameful. Simply shameful. He should be shunned by his associates for shoving a senior citizen. I am guessing that if he comes up against a real hardcore criminal that he may fold in fear like a lawn chair! This is also reminiscent of another story I wrote about involving NFL player Ryan Moats, who was also stopped by a cop and the encounter caught on the dashboard camera.
According to the deputy, he shoved Winkfein so she would get away from the side of the highway. The elderly woman started to tease the officer... "daring" him to use his taser on her. He warned her several times she was in danger of being tasered. The officer eventually did use the device that delivers a shock. Winkfein wasn't hurt, but you can hear here moans of agony on the tape right after it happened.Travis County, Texas Sergeant Major Gary Griffin says after reviewing the footage the officer followed policy and stands by his decision to use it.The dash cam video of this incident lasts about 1:45. Source: KDVR-TVThank God for the dashcam because the truth would have never come to light. Think of all the young African American and Latinos men that have been tasered at will by these cops with no real reason to do so? Sorry, but Deputy Bieze needs to be confined to desk duty or kicked off the force. So, too, should all the cops who act as recklessly as he has.
