Diane Sawyer

I am pleased to see Diane sawyer stepping in to fill that vacancy. When it first became available after Peter Jennings' death, and later after Bob Woodruff's bombing, and Elizabeth Vargas' pregnancy, it became apparent that it was a position waiting for Diane to fill. It is good to see the strides women are making in the male dominated world of evening news anchor. Thanks to Katie Couric for being brave enough to break the mold. We wish Diane all the best, and kudos to women everywhere, who in everyday situations contribute to making our world a better place. Congratulations, Diane.
