Jim Pouillon, Anti-Abortion Activist, Shot and Killed in Front of Owosso High School, MI, Suspect in Custody



Jim Pouillon, a long time anti-abortion activist has been shot and killed this morning in front of Owosso High School in Michigan. Owosso schools transportation supervisor Jayne Campbell said the shooting occurred around 7:30 a.m., after most students were off the buses and safely inside the building. State police also confirmed that a suspect was taken into custody about 8:15 a.m. at the suspect's home.

According to MLive, a black car can be seen parked at the corner of North and Whitehaven streets, where a portable oxygen tank is lying in a front yard next to a large sign bearing the image of a baby and the word "Life."

Argus-Press is reporting that another man was at Fuoss Gravel in Owosso Township.
“We have two murders. We believe they are related and we have a suspect in custody,” Shiawassee County Sheriff George Braidwood said. “We're only a couple of hours into this so it's going to take some time for all of the details to come through.”Witnesses on the scene identified the man who was shot near OHS as long-time abortion protester Jim Pouillon.

Police had not identified the second victim by press time, however, Jack Swarthout, who lives on Busha Road, across the street from Fouss Gravel in Owosso Township, said the victim in the second killing was Mike Fouss. Source: Argus-Press
No matter where you are on the abortion issue, no one deserves to be shot and killed because of his or her views.
