The police department has done an about-face yesterday as attention on the story intensified. "The incident appears now to be more about a couple of bullies on a bus dictating where people sit," said Belleville Police Capt. Don Sax, who originally said Monday's attack had racial motivations. Sax said his original comments were "premature." "It was my personal and emotional comment after only seeing the video briefly," Sax said. Wow. How do you get from a hate crime to a case of bullying?
It is equally amazing that Rush Limbaugh has entered the fray and given his two cents laying blame at the feet of President Obama for this fight. He said, "In Obama's America, the white kids now get beat up with the black kids cheering." Now who is doing the race baiting? Now this idiot is calling for segregation. It is time for people to come out swinging against this inflammatory output being spewed by the presumptive leader of the Republican Party. It is amazing that no-one in the Republican Party has refuted these racist statements being made by this moron.
A white student who attends Belleville West High School, in Belleville, MO, was beaten aboard a school bus yesterday. What is shameful is that the victim was punched repeatedly while other students on the bus gathered to watch, some cheering. Police said that the beating occurred in a five-minute span and appeared to be racially motivated. The victim was reportedly trying to find a seat when he was told by two students that he could not sit next to them. The police said when he did sit, one teen tried to push him out of his seat and then began grabbing the victim's neck and punching him in the face.

Sorry, but these young thugs who did this, should be locked up for their actions. These are the same miscreants who will enter a life of crime. According to the police, the victim eventually returned to his seat, but another student began taunting him a few minutes later. Here's my question: where in the world was the bus driver while this was happening? There were some students who intervened to help the victim both times, but the bus driver seemed to be missing in action."In my estimation, it's racially motivated," said Capt. Don Sax of the Belleville Police Department. He said one reason he had formed this opinion was that many of the students, most of whom were black, yelled their support for the beating. "There was absolutely no justification for the beating either time," Sax said.I am sure the parents of these two teenage thugs will get on television and sing the praises of their sons, all the while knowing that they have contributed to their children being monsters and a public nuisance.
Two teens were taken into custody; authorities will apply for charges today. Both students have been suspended, said Superintendent Greg Moats. Source: St. Louis Today
