U.S. Soldier Karen Moore Shot to Death by 15 YO Daughter After Argument About Her 17 YO Boyfriend

SHOCK: Karen Moore, 42, a soldier and recruiter with the United States Army, was shot to death by her 15 year old daughter as she watched television in her Braselton, GA, home. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the 15 year old has been charged with the murder.

Solis said a neighbor found Moore in a pool of blood in her home on Sahale Falls Drive, according to AM 750 and now 95.5FM News/Talk WSB.

Channel 2 reported Friday morning that Moore's daughter, whose name has not been released, admitted shooting her mother after several hours of questioning.

The motive, according to the station, was an argument over the mother's disapproval of a relationship her daughter was having with a 17-year-old.

Moore was shot in the back of the head while watching television. Police found the alleged murder weapon in a Volkswagen parked outside the home, according to Channel 2.

The daughter was arrested and taken to a juvenile detention facility. Her boyfriend was arrested and charged with having sex with a minor, Channel 2 reported. Source: AJC

Wow, I have no words that can adequately express the anger I feel for what happened to this soldier. What's equally despicable is that the girl is a minor, so she may not be tried as an adult and could be out on the streets in months.
